Tate has been such a sweet and calm baby. She sleeps well, eats super good (like a really hard suck that still hurts!), and everyone loves to hold her and be with her. Our dog Jackie took a few days to realize what her cry was and wasn't sure about Tate but now he loves to come up and smell her and see what she is up to in her rocker. Tate is very calm natured and only cries when I change her diaper or when she is super tired! She loves to be held and hear our voices. It has been such a great transition for our family and everyone is adjusting super well! We love our Tate so much!! I stayed in bed the first week and adjusted to breastfeeding and healing. It is always so nice to be able to do this! Spencer took care of the rest of the house and Charley and Bergen went to grandparent camp so it worked out perfect! Lenny and Jonny came on the bed a lot to hold Tate and we made lots of bracelets and anklets. Tates umbilical cord fell off right at 2 weeks so we gave her her first bath with Charley and Bergen helping. They wanted to do it ALL and were fighting to do everything so we had to split the responsibilities. We also had to very big events right after Tate was born. Spencer had a birthday party with a huge seafood boil and about 40 people at our house. Everyone wanted to see and hold Tate. Then Charley had a birthday party and Tate was passed around to all 12 of her ten year old friends! They all loved holding Tate and I got lots of texts from mom's later saying the girls just LOVED holding her!!

Gramma B came to visit for a week and helped with all the things. She snuggled with Tate, made dinner, helped with laundry and played with the girls. It was so nice to have her and have her meet Tate! Tate also had lots of other visitors stop by to say hi and hold her. She is loved by so many!
