Bryce Canyon

8.12.2020

Since we were in Southern Utah, we went to Bryce Canyon while we were there. Dani joined us and it was a great, hot and fun getaway. We stayed in Panguitch where we own our airbnb and got to see Shea and Nadine who we haven't seen in a long time! Bryce Canyon is beautiful and so awe-inspiring. The hikes were doable for the girls and we had fun walking on all the orange rocks. The first day we hiked Navajo Loop and Queens Garden which are the most popular hikes in Bryce. They were beautiful and not too crowded.

Then we went over to a  really fun hike with a waterfall. The girls found a natural waterslide to slide down, though it was a bit bumpy for their bum and I think more than one girls cried when they hit a huge rock while sliding. :) We also lost Lenny's shoe when it came off and went rushing down the waterfall but luckily someone at the bottom of the falls saw it and put it on the beach for us to come grab when we hiked back down. That hike was called Mossy Cave Trail. Then we headed over to Red Hollow Trail which was really cool because it was a short and sweet slot canyon. You can climb up a few ropes and keep going so Dani and I did the next two ropes while Spencer stayed with the girls. It was really fun and beautiful in there! Next time we want to do Pee-A-Boo in Zion but figured that is when the girls are older.
