Each Saturday we try to plan something fun to do around the city. I have a big list of places we want to go and food we want to try! Here are a few pictures from some Saturday outings. A few weeks ago we went to SoHo and were just going to grab dinner and shop around, but ended up waiting in line for the cookie shot at Dominique Ansel's Bakery. I am glad we did because it was something I wanted to try. He makes a cup out of a baked cookie and then fills it with the yummiest warm vanilla milk! It was really good! After the cookie shot, we went to Cafe Habana and tried their famous grilled corn with queso and some yummy shrimp tacos. It was a good day! And the last Saturday adventure I wanted to document was went we met up with some of our very best friends in Central Park. The Eyi's moved to Manhattan a few months ago but we still try to get together with them and their cute boys! We went to Central Park and Levain Bakery for a yummy cookie! Spencer walked around with James and Charley while they rode scooters and Laura and I were able to catch up with life. That night we went home and made some yummy pho!
Another weekend we went to Williamsburg to try the rainbow bagel. Sooo much hype for a not so good bagel. We have way better bagels just around the corner from us, so the bagel itself was nothing special but since it was colorful and bright it was fun to try. We tried two different bagels and Bergen loved them the most! The next day her poop was all blue from the dye in the bagel:) We waited in line for about 2 hours for the bagel which Spencer was not a fan of, but it was fun to try. That night, we got a babysitter and went out on a double date with our good friends, Ryan and Jefra. We went to BlackTap to try their ginormous milkshakes and burgers. The burgers were really good and the milkshake was fun to try! That have some pretty amazing flavors and they are just huge!! We again waited in line for about 2 hours. It was cold that night and by the time we got in the door we were really tired of waiting in line from that morning and for dinner! But the burgers were really worth it.
