One of the downers of living in NYC is that it is very transient. People are coming and going all the time. In the 2.5 years that we have lived here there have been numerous people moving out of the city and lots of people moving in. That makes it fun but also hard to establish friendships. We were so blessed to have the best neighbors and friends here in our building. We met the Murphy's right when we moved in and became best friends right away. Jennifer is one of those people who is so easy to get along with and very easy going. She is the best mom and such a genuine person. She is truly my best friend. Charley and Violet are about a year apart and Bergen and Emmeline are 6 months apart. We would play just about every day together going to each others houses, having dinner together and going to playgrounds and museums together. Our families got to be really close. It was so much fun getting to know them and always have something to talk about. We are really going to miss the Murphy's as they moved to Colorado but know we will visit them lots! One of my favorite things to do with them was to put the kids to bed and then either they would come up to our place, or we would go to theirs with the baby monitors and we would just stay up talking, laughing and joking. It was the best!
