Lots of July Fun!

Charley flew all by herself to Washington for Grandparent week. She did so well on the plane and the flight attendants said she was amazing! She was most excited about all the candy and snacks she got. Gramma B picked her up in Seattle and brought her back to Winthrop. And then she had a ball of fun the next 5 days with all her cousins and Gramma B and Bart! They rode horses, went boating, did the Chelan waterslides, went into town to Sheri's, did the grab-n-go coin grab and stayed up way too late and probably ate way too much candy! Bart said they didn't have a bedtime and a few nights Charley would just put herself to bed and say goodnight and go upstairs and go to bed. She has some great older cousins that look out for her like Grace, Syd and Claire. They are sweet and always watch over her. She always loves this week so much and has so much fun with her cousins and Grandparents! 

We spent lots of July in water! At the beach, pond and pool! We went to Sherwood Island with friends and it was a nice enough beach to play at for the day! The girls like catching hermit crabs and playing in the sand. Lenny just liked sitting on Erica's lap the whole time and luckily she didn't mind either. Lenny is such a lover and snuggles. She likes to be like grown-ups and wears a cover-up (dress) like me and will come in after getting dressed in the morning and stroke her hair and say, "I just did my makeup" and kind of bat her eyes. It's pretty cute! We also set up the tent in our backyard and slept outside. We roasted marshmallows and had a little campout in our backyard! We went on the Parker's boat too which was a lot of fun. Charley tried wake boarding! I was so proud of her for trying. I did some wake boarding and Spencer and I both tried wake surfing which is a lot harder than it looks! We jumped off the boat and the girls jumped off rocks and we ate dinner on the boat. It was a really fun night
