Jonny is 18 months and rocking it in a dress my old boss from when I taught 1st Grade at Channing Hall gave me. She gave it to me when I was pregnant with Charley and all 4 girls have worn it! It's such a treasure! Other happenings: Charley pulled out her tooth ON her birthday! She got some extra special coins from the tooth fairy that night! Charley also wanted to do a lemonade stand. She made scrunchies, headbands and bracelets and sold lemonade. Bergen wanted to sell something too so she sold Chocolate milk. Unfortunately no one wanted to buy the milk and Bergen was pretty sad about that! But Charley made about $60!! She paid 25 to homeless people and $20 to the bank. I was proud of her to think of that all on her own! It was a fun experience and fun for them to try to earn money. We also went on a fun hike on one of the Land Trust hikes and went looking for frogs in the pond. Bergen always wants to do this as our activity and it's a fun one to do! We made pretzels one day which is always a favorite as well! Lots of summer reading going on and also a fun science experiment that Charley made up on her own! One morning she gathered all the supplies and called us in there to sit and watch her experiment. The night before it was raining really hard and she took out two bowls to collect rain water! I didn't think she would collect that much but she ended up collecting a ton and was able to do some experiments with the water. It was pretty fun!
