We took a quick trip to Park City for my Grandma Ila's 100 birthday! There were so many cousins, grandkids, great-grandkids, aunts and uncles! It was a good time. All of my Dad's family made it and it was so good to see so many cousins that I hadn't seen in so long! We played games, the kids swam in the pool, we had a talent show and talked about our sweet Grandma and Grandpa. Dani and I also ran a half marathon in honor of Jim. This weekend would have been the AF half but they cancelled it so we ran our own half in honor of him. We also did the Alpine Slide which I was so proud of Charley for going on herself. They said after you get to be a certain height you have to go by yourself for safety and she was really scared! She was crying and nervous but I talked her through it and she calmed down by the end and did it! She was really proud of herself too! Bergen and Lenny both sang songs for the talent show and my cousin Jenny just fell in love with the girls! She was so happy to see them and told me they really bring a bright spot to her through social media. The girls picked out some of Grandma's jewelry and dresses which as fun to see them wear to church the next week too!
We were also able to spend a few days with Mark and DeAnn and see them. Bergen actually went on a hike with Dani but Charley and Lenny and Jonny stayed with them and we got to make bread animals, go out to get shaved ice, Charley picked out a baptism dress and scriptures from Deseret Book and I got a haircut! It was a successful UT trip. The girls also played in the sprinklers at Grandma and Grandpa Ellingson's and checked out his massive garden. They played in the basement with all the toys and lots of card games with Grandma!
