Start of June

We are loving the warm weather that June is bringing and lots of play outside. Jonny's little friend Andrew had a birthday at the playground that we went to and Bergen and Charley also invited Annie and Clara Parker over for some theater practice and outside play. They are such a cute family. Bergen and Clara have a sweet friendship that I hope lasts because they are both really sweet and even each other out really well. Charley and Annie are in The Little Mermaid together and came to our house for practice. They also did so well in their performance! It was really fun to see them act together. Charley was Ursula and loved being the villain. She had some great lines and sang her song beautifully and loud! She said she made up the dance moves to her song too which was fun to see her get in the act. She is a great little performer. For Bergen's birthday she got a butterfly home so we ordered caterpillars and watched them cocoon into butterflies! She released them the other day but before releasing had to play with them in the house. She lost one a few times but would walk around the house and find it inside! She loves all creatures! :) She also finished out soccer and its as fun to coach her team! She had a fun little team that I coached with Ariel, Mati's Dad. Bergen is such a great player and I hope she sticks with it! She is fast and loves to score and really is a tenacious player. 

These girls love going into Daddy's "office" and sitting on his lap. Jonny really loves sneaking in there whenever the door is open and going to say hi to Spencer. It's cute, she will walk in and say, "hi dad" in her high pitched voice! :) Also, the other day I looked out the window and saw the biggest snapping turtle! It was HUGE and Spencer tried to pick it up but it snapped so big and loud with it's whole body the Spencer dropped it! He tried one more time, but that thing was humongous that we didn't want to mess with him! I'm actually really glad we went out as a family and the girls didn't see it on their own because they would have walked right up to it without knowing it snapped so big! 

Lenny finished out her preschool year with a cute performance with her class. Spencer and I were able to go and watch. She had some great teachers and friends that we will miss next year. Community Preschool was such a great preschool for her and she had a good time! Bergen also had a zoom Kinder performance where they sang a song and the teacher gave out awards. It was cute to see her with her class over zoom. I snapped a picture of her and her teacher outside school pick-up one day! We absolutely LOVED miss Mrs. Baker! She was the best and really helped Bergen succeed this year!! We also went to a fun pool party at the Colemans house and the girls had fun playing in their backyard! And I got my cov!d vaccine! Such a weird time in life! I was hesitant to get it, but decided to get it to stay healthy. I feel good about my decisions even though it was a lot of peer pressure since 98% of our age group here in New Canaan has gotten the vaccine. I felt a but pressured since everyone was doing it and talking about it. I just didn't want to be singled out.
