I have a lot to catch up on! I realized I haven't blogged for a while and am now a month and a half behind! I usually have so many pictures on my phone that I want to put somewhere and so they end up in a catch up post like this. Lots of these are our day-to-day happenings like rainy day fun, playgrounds, and crafts at home. Spencer also picked up a huge box of apples from China Town and we made apple everything! We dried a lot of them, made apple muffins, applesauce and apple compote! So yummy! And the best part was that Charley could help peel and cut the apples with our apple cutter. She loved spinning it and eating a lot of them as well. :)
We visited Spencer at work one day and the girls (and him) loved it! His work is really close to our place so we took the train over there and walked right in front of his glass door and the girls started saying hi through the door. He was so happy to see them! While Spencer finished up his call I took the girls onto his roof and played until he was done. His roof work space is pretty amazing too!
Just about everyday Charley sets up a "picnic" for me and her while Bergen naps. It is really cute and she thinks of everything we can do and brings it onto the blanket for us. She usually has a snack, craft, books, coloring pages and a toy to play. I love it!
During the pumpkin and apple season we went to Alstede Farms with friends and picked lots of apples and got a few pumpkins. That place has everything! The girls rode horses, jumped in a bouncy house, played in a pit full of corn kernels, and rode a mini tractor train. Then we took a hayride around to get our apples and pumpkins. It was such a great day and the girls napped HARD on the way home! :)
