Halloween and the Aquarium

12.07.2014

I am super behind on my updates so here are a few from the end of October and November... whoops! Charley was a flower this year for Halloween! It was a pretty simple costume that wasn't even supposed to be a costume. I had gotten a cute flower hoodie from my baby-shower before she was born and she finally fit into it a few months ago, so I thought I would just save it for Halloween. The hoodie has cute pedals on it and her leggings have a huge flower around her bum so it turned out cute!
There was a Halloween Carnival at the park a few days before Halloween, so we took Charley. She got to ride a cute little pony, play some carnival games and hang out in the beautiful fall leaves! She loved riding the pony after she realized she couldn't take off her helmet :)
We also put on a Halloween Church party that was a success! SO many people came and it turned out to be a lot of fun. I was in charge of the photo booth so I got to see all the fun costumes that came. We had donut eating contests, a witches hat ring toss, bingo, a cake walk, bowling and a Chili Cook-off! I work with some pretty awesome girls down in Primary!
Spencer and I were last minute hikers/spurlunkers/climbers.
Halloween day, we biked over to Park Slope where there are tons and tons of shops that were handing out candy. We just stayed on 7th avenue and Charley was able to fill her bag FULL of candy. After a while, I even just started walking with her and we didn't stop to get more candy. We met up with some friends to go trick-or-treating and then there was a parade that night.

About a month ago, a few of us went to the New York Aquarium down in Coney Island. It was a lot of fun and something that I had been wanting to do. Charley loved looking at all the fish.
After the aquarium we walked out to the pier and had lunch on the beach. Charley was loving the sand.
