End of November pics

We have loved exploring different playgrounds while we have lived here. The other day we were walking to the Post Office and found yet another playground to enjoy!
I had to snap a picture while I was making dinner of poor Charley who must have been a bit tired! She was laying next to me with her blanket just sucking her thumb.
I love that this girl READS! I will bring books wherever we go because it entertains her and she loves looking at the pictures!
We said good-bye to our friends who left for Utah :( We were sad to see them leave! Charley and Mia were BFF's and she would get so excited when I would say that were were going to see Mia! We had a party at their house before they left with good friends and good food!
Don't mind her yucky nose, but this kid has been making this face lately and it cracks me up!
We got a membership at the Children's Museum and have been going with friends about once a week! Charley absolutely LOVES this place! She especially loves the water part where she puts on a smock and goes crazy! This museum has some fun things in it like sand tables, foam pits, music toys, dancing music and a jungle gym with a slide!
My mom found these cute shoes at a yard sale and I love them! They are super warm for Charley now that it's getting cold outside!
I love this age Charley is at! She is starting to talk and understand things which is so nice! She knows that when I bring the popcorn out I will sit at the edge of the couch and eat it. The other day, she saw my get it out of the cupboard and ran to the couch and sat down on the floor and waited for me! :) It was the cutest thing! She loves popcorn like her mama.
This girl is really into stacking things! It always seems to be that her fussy time is right when I'm making dinner and she wants to be held, so the other day I set this spice rack on the floor and let her go crazy and she was in heaven.
Spencer and I have still been getting out on Saturday's and trying to go to different places. Last Saturday we walked the High line (one of our favorites) and then went to Chelsea Market to try these amazing Mexican tacos! I had gotten them with my sister and wanted Spencer to try them, so we got some tacos, but were still hungry so we grabbed some Pad Thai as well. Some of the best Pad Thai I have had out here!
I put up our Christmas decorations the other day, which took about 5 minutes. We didn't bring very many decorations out here because we just don't have any room, but our little light tree will do for now!
This girl is mastering the stairs!
More books! This is a daily view for me.. Charley handing me yet another book to read.
And when I can't read anymore.. she will go and sit and read them on her own.
Loving the rustic Christmas gifts we are handing out this year! I made some home-made granola that is to die for! We are going to hand it out to some neighbors and friends!

  2. Leone is crazy about popcorn too! At even the hint of popcorn she immediately runs to the cupboard and pulls out the popper and the "popcorn bowl". Kids are the best!
