Date night and GNO

12.09.2014

Spencer and I went out on a date a few weeks ago. We went to see the Knicks play at Madison Square Garden. I had been wanting to try The Halal Guys since my friend raved about it, so being the amazing husband Spencer is, he went early to pick up dinner and then I dropped Charley off at the baby-sitters and went to meet him! It worked out perfectly meeting him in the city and we ate our dinner outside the stadium and then went into the game. The Halal food was AMAZING! Such good food! We had fun at the game too and I was so amazed at how many celebrities go! They kept showing them on the mega-tron and then we were able to spot them out in the crowd!
Madison Square Garden is a really cool place. It's huge and on the 6th floor it has a timeline that goes all the way around the hallways showing something eventful that happened EVERY single DAY of the year! It's really cool!
So one of my really good friends moved to Utah a few weeks ago and so before she moved we had a girls night out! We went into the city and first stopped at Sockerbit. It's this really cool Scandinavia candy store where all the candy is imported and really yummy! It's the real deal and made with no artificial sugars and corn syrup like the candy is made in America. I loaded up on this stuff and it went fast once I brought it home to Spencer and Charley:)
Then we grabbed some dinner and then went to Radio City to watch the Rockets Christmas Special. This show is AMAZING and a must see if you're in New York! I loved it and these ladies are super talented. Their dancing is unreal.
The soldier dance was my favorite! They all walk with the same strut and are all the same height. In one scene they slowly fall down like a slow-motion domino effect that looks really cool!
Such a fun night with these girls!
And two pictures that were on my phone.. my sister finished her Pacific Coast Bike ride! She is a rockstar and biked from Canada to Mexico in a month! She biked around 100 miles each day and met some really cool people along the way! She is my inspiration.
And this cute girl's favorite toy right now is this spatula. She will wake up in the morning and go straight to the cooking utensil drawer and grab this green spatula. She loves sucking on the rubber and carrying it around. :)
