Brooklyn in the fall

I am so happy that we moved during the this time of year to such a beautiful place. We have been able to soak in all of Brooklyn's goodness during this Autumn season. The weather is pretty close to Utah's with a little more humidity in the air. The air is crisp and cool. The trees are bright and colorful. We live a mile from Prospect Park and I LOVE it! I run there from our house and around the park which is about 3.5 miles and it never gets old! There are always new things to see and people to watch. I could sit at that park all day and just people watch. I always wonder what people are doing, what they are thinking, where they are going and where they live. I want to follow someone home and be a fly on their wall. Everyone here has this mystery to them that makes them so intriguing! I think it's because everyone has their own bit of style here that no one person is quite alike. They are all unique and just as colorful as the leaves on the trees!

We finally finished putting our cute apt. together and I love it! It is so cute and little! It's perfect for what we need. Spencer's desk and "home office" is in our room and Charley has here own room (lucky!) Our room has huge big windows that let in a lot of natural light AND we have French doors! Who wouldn't want French doors!?

We did have to cave a bit and buy Charley a noise maker.. man it's noisy on the street below. There is always some car honking, someone yelling, music going, dump trucks passing or an ambulance hurrying that makes it almost impossible for Charley to get a good nap or nights rest. She has slept wonderfully with that little white-noise maker! I also bought her some black-out curtains that have helped since it is never completely dark here.. There are street lights outside that make nice little nightlights for my nightly feeding or midnight bathroom run.

Happy Sunday to you! I can't believe Charley is sleeping like this with Spencer. I am glad she can, because anytime I try to cuddle with Spencer to nap, he twitches like crazy in his sleep and I don't get a wink of sleep. I am surprise she is sleeping through his twitches. :)
