Father's Day and more end of year festivities

Fathers Day. We have a good one here! Spencer is such a wonderful hands-on dad! He is patient, loving, kind, fun, silly, an awesome girl dad and so fun to hang out with. The girls love wrestling with him, playing games, playing French Bad Guy and alligator, zombie and mummy. They are always making up different games to play down in the basement with him. He is helpful around the house, cleans so much on Saturday during chore time, loves being outside and doing yard work and bring with his girls. We love him so much! We made him breakfast in bed which he wanted some warm oatmeal. Then for dessert we made him a banana cream cheesecake! It was so yummy! The girls all gave him presents and cards and it was such a good day for him!

I took Charley on an early birthday present experience! We went into the city to see the Harry Potter Broadway! She loved it so much! She was on the edge of her seat the entire time. At intermission she chose a chocolate wand and popcorn to eat! Before the show she wanted a hamburger so we went to shake shack and got a burger and fries and shake! It was a really fun and special night with her! I am so glad she loved it so much. The magic in it is really good! It's amazing how they do it. I also wanted to do a few more one-on-one dates with the girls before baby came so I took Bergen to the movies to see Little Mermaid and Lenny and I went to the library and the mobile store to get some candy. I also took Jonny to the mobile store and then we came home and watched the Little Mermaid. It was fun to spend some time with each girl. Spencer and I went to a Mid Summers evening at Mary Andersons house. We all wore white and girls wore flower crowns and it was such a lovely evening with friends. They roasted a whole pig and Spencer loved watching the butcher roast it and cut it up. Last day of school we had friends over to throw water balloons and jump on the trampoline. It was fun to have friends over!

Bergen had her end of year theater performance. She was Ursula in the Little Mermaid and did such a great job!! It was so fun to watch her perform. She is a good little actress and sang her songs so loudly and confidently. Spencer and I looked at each other a few times in amazement at her confidence and boldness! After we got home from Mexico we went to the beach with Sydney which was a fun outing with her. We were so grateful for all she did while we were gone and being here with the girls while we were in Mexico. Everything went so smoothly and she did awesome juggling everything that was happening that week. Bergen and Charley both had their end of year writing celebrations that she went to and was able to go to their classrooms and be with them. Charley also had her end of year theater performance as Matilda in the play Matilda. She is so good!! She has a great voice and knew all her lines and acted so well. She is becoming quite the performer! Spencer also took the older girls to a METS game one night and they all got some swag and food! They loved it!
I also gave Jonny her first haircut! She was getting lots of tangles and so we decided it was time to cut her hair! She loved getting a cut and it looks so cute and fresh!
