Josh and Sasha Swift were also baptized the same day as you. We made it special by letting you each pick something for your special day. You chose to sing "Army of Helaman" as the closing song and chose Gramma B and Bart to give a talk. It was sweet seeing both of them up on the stand giving a talk. Then you and Sasha sang a special number, "I am a Child of God" while Josh and Delsa Ivonav played the piano. You were baptized May 21st and everything turned out so great. We had lots of helpers and lots of treats and food at the end. Some special friends came too! Adina Bloom and our old neighbor Vera Rahn came to support you which was so sweet! Lots of ward members showed up too! It was fun to have your Grandparents there and afterward we had a big seafood boil at our house! Your favorite :) haha just kidding... you plugged your nose the whole dinner. Gramma B gave Bergen a sweet embroidered towel that says Bergen's name on it and a wooden sign made by Bailey. Spencer gave Bergen a sweet blessing when he gave her the Holy Ghost. He blessed her that the Holy Ghost would be a comfort and guide. He said that the Holy Ghost would help her in times of need, sadness and worry. He blessed her that she would feel the Holy Ghost help her feel safe and that she is never alone and that the Holy Ghost would be a special friend to count on. He blessed her that she would appreciate the importance of selflessness and service. That her burdens would be lighter and lifted as she served those around her. Her life would be happy and feel more complete. The last thing he said is that he blessed her that she can be someone others can count on and an example of Jesus Christ. It was a very special blessing I hope Bergen will remember and think about.
