December fun!

12.14.2022

What an eventful month! Charley did so amazing in the play "Annie" as Miss Hannigan. She is so fun to watch. She's in her element up on stage and has such a beautiful voice. She is a great actor too!

Too many Christmas adventures to count.. From spending time with friends, Lenny posing with Charlie Davis, writing cards to missionaries, wrestling with Dad, and all the other fun advent calendar activities... December is a busy month at the Ellingson household. We love the new adventures each day brings and the Christmas spirit that fills our home as we spend time together. We also went all-in this year with skiing. We rented skis for the older 3 girls and Spencer and I. We got a pass to Thunder Ridge which has been such a great beginner hill to learn on. The girls picked it up so fast and are now racing down the hill! Lenny did the bunny hill a few times and is now doing the green runs like a pro too! It was taken Spencer and I a little longer to get the hang of it, but it's a fun sport and really fun to spend the day with the girls! They bond so well with activities like this.

The girls have sure warmed up to Jackie.. He's always up for a good snuggle or a tummy rub.. This guy never gets a quiet moment in our house.

Yay for Christmas jammies! The tradition continues!

Bergen's age group also did the play "Annie".. And coincidentally just like Charley, Bergen also played Miss Hannigan as well as one of the orphans in scenes without Miss Hannigan. She did such a great job and it's so fun to watch her.

Mads took the girls to see the Rockettes. Lenny got to go this year for the first time and enjoy the magic with her sisters. It's become a fun tradition for Mads to take the girls as one of their advent calendar adventures.

Making homemade ornaments for our advent calendar. The girls always have a blast doing art projects with Mads. We even got a little Jackie paw ornament in.
