Lots of snow in February! We have absolutely loved the snow this winter. The girls love having a backyard to play in it and we have pulled them behind the jeep up and down the driveway which they love! Charley and Bergen will do some night runs once the younger two are in bed because they love it so much! They love just going outside and getting icicles and playing in the snow. It's been fun to watch and see them in a suburban winter! We have also gone to Waveny Park a few times since it has a great hill! We will meet friends there and do the hill for a few hours. The girls love it!! You can get going really fast. I have gone down with them and you get going fast right toward the pond!
Well it's no surprise that Bergen won the Read-a-Thon for all of Kindergarten! She did amazing and read so well. She got quite the gift bag too! Candy (huge ones!), $50 Amazon GC and lots of snacks! She was super excited. Charley, on the other hand, was pretty sad she didn't win since she loves to read too. 2nd grade was a harder competition though!
One night Charley stayed up with me and helped me make some Valentines treats for her sisters. We had fun melting chocolate and making a Valentines surprise. She wanted to try it all since she loves tasting and trying all the things. And a picture of Jonny with some boots on her hands. She has been loving doing this and crawling around like that! She loves something on her hands and on her head. She will go to the coat closet and find the basket of hats and try them all on.
