Washington Family Reunion in Winthrop!!

What a fun family reunion! Dani was in charge of it this year and we did it in Winthrop. It was so fun to have everyone there! It's been a long time since we have all been together and Jackson was the only one who couldn't make it because of work. We all bunked at my parents and Peterson's house and squeezed in as best as possible. We had so many fun activities like donut eating, pickle ball tournament, bike rides for the kids and adults, water baseball, and hiking. It was so fun for the kids to get to know their cousins better as well as just enjoy being outside. Everyone had a great time and we can't wait until the next one. 

Dani planned an adult bike ride around Pearygin lake. It was so exhilerating and such a great way to get around the lake, spend time with the sistas and all be together. I had never done mountain biking and at first it is really scary and you don't trust yourself or your bike. I was using the brake way too much but once I got the hang of it and learned to trust the downhill and turns, you can cruise super fast! 

The day on the boat was so much fun! Charley knee boarded and Bergen rode in the tube with Spencer and Mads. They loved being in the boat and playing in the water with their cousins. Madison picked up right where she left off and shredded around the lake a few times. Charley also got up on the skis for a few seconds. Spencer and I were so proud of her for trying. We weren't sure what to expect but she wanted to get in the water and try all the things! It was awesome!!! 

We had some long days, but it was worth it!

Bergen loved spending time with Bart in the garden. She couldn't wait to go pick some vegetables with Bart and get dirty in the process. The girls also loved going outside and just playing in the yard. It was quite a change to have some space and a yard and they took advantage of it for sure, which I loved seeing. They would go out and "help" Bart feed the horses too.

You can't go to Winthrop without stopping at Sheri's Sweet Shop!

Our little Cowgirls had so much fun riding the horses around the yard. Each one of them got to take a turn and they did so great! Mads relived some of her glory days by dressing up and getting out and riding the horse. She's still got some country left in her after all those city days. 

Making suckers with Grandma B our last day in Winthrop! What a great finish to such a fun trip!
