4th of July, splash pad and Seattle

We had so much fun at Brooklyn Bridge Park! The girls love the swings and of course the splash pad is a hit when it's super hot outside. Lenny loves her new "pineapple" swimsuit that she got from our neighbor Elle. Look at those buns!

We let the older girls stay up a little later and go up on the roof to watch fireworks. They had a blast! It was a great night of fireworks and always so fun to see them from our roof deck where we can see many up close! A magical summer night in Brooklyn!

We started our 6 week long travel, first stopping in Seattle! Covid traveling is a bit different these days with masks, wiping down our seats and tray table right when we get on the plane and sanitizing like crazy, but the girls did really well with it all! Our first stop was the gum wall at Pike Place Market. We got some chowda, smoked salmon and dried fruit too that was yummy! Then we stayed the night at my friend Kate's house that night. 

The girls were so excited to put their gum on the gum wall in Seattle. Our one rule was that they couldn't take any gum off the wall. Still not sure if they followed that rule or not...
