End of January

End of January was newborn bliss with sweet Jonny. We brought her home from the hospital and I stayed in bed for a week straight. I didn't leave our bedroom. I just snuggled, slept and relaxed. It was such a nice time for my body to heal, my milk supply to come in and to be reintroduced to life very slowly. Spencer took care of everything and the girls and food, bedtime and watching the girls. They would come in and we would play games and they would bring me my meals. It was cute and they got really into bringing me each meal. Jonny is such a sweet baby and we all just love her! Lenny smothers her a bit too much and Bergen is such a HUGE helper! She is just a little mom and already has the swaddle and holding her head down. She holds her the most and is already learning how to change her diaper and put her clothes on. It's really cute to see each sister with Jonny and how they react to her. Charley will hold her if I ask but is a bit hesitant to hold her on her own. I think it's because Charley's personality is a rule-follower and if Jonny cries she feels like she is doing something wrong and immediately wants me to hold her.
I also feel like going from 3 kids to 4 was easier than going from 2 to 3. Lenny is already used to being apart of a pack where Bergen was not used to sharing my hand/lap/time as much so it was harder on Bergen when she became the middle child. Lenny is already used to not getting as much attention so she has been really good about it. She is super sweet to Jonny and will go up to her and kiss and hug her. She read her a book the other day which was the cutest! All the girls have been so good with the change and transition I am always so amazed when we bring home a new baby how easily they adapt to a new life/family routine.
