December FUN!

12.19.2019

Our December was packed to the brim! We made an advent calendar and came up with 25 things to do, one for each day. Some days it was very simple like calling cousins, writing a letter to Santa, getting our Christmas tree.. and other days it took a whole afternoon like caroling to friends and neighbors, making Christmas cookies with Megan and Donn, decorating gingerbread houses, going to the temple and giving at the Giving Machine. We went to Dyker Heights Lights, made hot chocolate, cut out snowflakes, made a Christmas craft, bought gifts for each sibling (the girls were so excited to do this it was really cute!), read Christmas books, went to the Bryant Park market, opened Christmas jammies, went to our ward party, Bergen had a preschool performance and Charley had a school performance, we went to our Stake Christmas concert, visited Santa at Santaland in Macy's, got frozen hot chocolate at Serendipity, and went to the Hall of Science to see the gingerbread lane. It was a really fun month with lots of fun things to look forward to. The girls were super excited each day to open the advent and see what we were going to do that day. Spencer and I also went to see Moulin Rouge which was AMAZING!! By far a favorite and really good singing and production. It was just amazing with the dancing and singing new and old songs. SOOO good! Since I knew after having Jonny I wouldn't be able to see a broadway for a while, my Christmas present to myself was to get a few broadways to see in the next few months. I bought Harry Potter, which was a two night show and really good!, Moulin Rouge, West Side Story and Music Man (which is in September 2020!)
