JUNE! We had fun with our homeschool group this month and went to Governors Island to play at The Junkyard. It's a fun "playground" where kids can just be kids and adults are not allowed. There are different materials for the kids to use and even hammers and nails! It is so fun to watch them explore and just do whatever on their own. After they played there we went to the slides and were able to slide for a bit before heading home. This month the girls also finished a sewing project- Charley made a skirt for her American Girl Doll and Bergen made a kitty cat. Charley also got her cast taken off which she was so excited about!!
