Here are a few pictures to the start of our beautiful summer. We are getting out more and more and enjoying this beautiful weather! The girls have been biking a lot, I went to a Broadway with my dear friend Sara Orlando. She had cheap tickets to see Beautiful and it was so good! I hadn't heard anything about it and really liked it! The music was phenomenal and the story was very interesting.
Poor Lenny dislocated her elbow this week. I was holding her hand and she pulled away from me and it sort of popped out of place. She took a nap fine but after her nap she was in a lot of pain and couldn't move her arm at all. She kept holding her elbow like it was hurting her and whenever she tried to use it, she would cry. I asked my neighbor to watch the older two girls while I took her to the pediatrician and she popped it back into place. Poor girl :(
Bergen really enjoyed ballet this semester. We tried a new place that was close to Charley's gymnastics and it worked out really well! I would drop Charley off and then Bergen off and then have a few minutes to run to the grocery store and then pick up Charley and then Bergen. Lenny joined in on the last class day and did some of the dances with the group. Her teacher was sweet to let her tag along and Lenny loved being with everyone!
My dear college friend, Lorie Ann came to visit with her cute family. We spent the day with them and took them to our favorite Thai place. The kids got along so well and Bergen and Clive were sitting at their own little table and it looked like they were just on their own little date. It was cute and so fun to catch up with Lorie Ann. Her husband Mason is in sales so he was traveling around the East Coast doing meet-ups with people so Lorie tagged along with him.
I finished Lenny's quilt!!! I started this in December at my parents house and finally finished! It took a bit longer than I thought but I love how it turned out. Each of the girls has a different pattern but is about the same size and always works out with how much guessing I do on how much fabric to buy. All three girls' have the same yellow fabric in it which I love that it's all the same. Lenny's is very special because when I was at my mom's house she had some extra fabric from my Grandma Ila's stash that she said I could have. I chose a few colors that matched with the navy/orange theme and put them in the quilt. There are 4 different squares with my Grandma's fabric and I love that they are incorporated into the quilt!
