The 4th of July weekend Charley fell off our bed and fractured her collar bone. She was wrapping herself up in our sheets and rolled off the bed. Because she was wrapped in our sheets, she couldn't break the fall with her hands and landed wrong right on her collar bone. She was definitely in pain but didn't cry for very long so we went on with our day, going to the playground and then naps. After naps she was really complaining that her should hurt and was crying a lot. I called the pedestrian and luckily they had an opening in 30 minutes. So Spencer stayed home with Bergen and I took Charley in. He suspected it was broken, and sent up next door to get an x-ray. Sure enough she had broken it. She was so tough throughout the process and afterward they gave her a sling to wear for the next few weeks. She is such a trooper!
I know this picture is blurry but I had to get a picture of Bergen and her tongue out! She has it out constantly and I love it! This is a total Bergen face right here! I also snapped a pic of her asleep on me after I nursed her. She is completely weaned now which makes me a little sad but it feels so good to have my body back. I absolutely love breast-feeding and loved my experience with Bergen! I loved watching her fall asleep on me while I fed her and miss those nights snuggling up to her. She is growing too fast!
