We came home and dumped them in the sink. We had hundreds!
Then we boiled them with corn on the cob, potatoes, onion, garlic and sausage.
Then we laid them all out on the table and...
feasted!!
For the 4th of July Spencer and I had such a FUN and RELAXING 4 day weekend. I really think we were blessed to be able to spend this time together before baby comes. We had 4 days with no work or obligations and were able to be with each other and cuddle lots! On the 3rd we went to the Salt Lake Temple and on the 4th we went to the Provo Parade, soaked up the sun, took a nap and then rode bikes to watch the fireworks at Thanksgiving Point that night. We did this last year too and it was so fun. Thanksgiving Point is our backyard and it was so nice to be able to ride our bikes over there with a blanket and watch them laying out on the grass. On the 5th we went to the store and bought some blow up floaties and went to the lake and swam around, floated and again... relaxed! Ahh gotta love summer!
We went boating the other night with our friends Lindsey and Kirk. Even though I couldn't do much but sit there, it was fun! I LOVE boating and am so excited to one day own a boat that we can take our family out on.
HOLY CRAWDADS. That IS a feast! I remember doing this in Pearrygin with the Scrimsher boys in the pitch black...haha good times. And yay for summer!
