Lenny turns SIX

10.11.2023

Our Lenny is 6!! We opened presents in the morning since Spencer had a long day in the city and wouldn't be home until later that night. She got a Mario watch and shirt and a jewelry holder. I took her to lunch from school that day and she chose McDonalds! We had to go pick up Jonny from preschool so Lenny got to say hi to her old teachers and it was so fun for her to be here! A few days later we had a party for her and she invited about 12 kindergartners over to have a Mario themed birthday party. We did an obstacle course, pin the mustache on Mario, jumped on the trampoline and had cake and pizza. It was a fun day and so many friends came! I also got to go into her classroom and read some books to her class. I brought Jonny with me and everyone loved sitting with her.

Lenny is such a fun loving girl! She is happy and loud and fun and fierce. She is a bright light to her class-mates and friends and loves to play with any and everyone. Her teacher has told me how much of a wonderful girl she is and is always helping her peers. She is a cheerleader to her classmate who is blind and is constantly helping him and being his friend. Lenny loves to help and be a friend. She and Jonny still play so well together and will play for hours when they get into a good groove. Lenny is starting to read really well and can sound out most words! She received the Charter Champion from her school and we got a sweet call from the principal telling us how Lenny received this award and how she is such a wonderful student. Whenever I got to South School, I am always stopped by a teacher or aid telling me how much they love Lenny and how she is so sweet and kind. We love her so much!!
