Halloween was a lot of fun and fairly warm this year! I went to South School to watch the school parades and then went over to Jonny's school for their Halloween party. They sang some Halloween songs and then we had lunch. Later that day the girls got home from school and we got ready for Halloween! Charley went over to the Parkers house to trick-or-treat with them and we took the younger 4 girls with the Baileys and Kellys in town. We met up with some other friends and Lenny and Zoe stayed together the entire time. Spencer stayed with Jonny and I walked with Bergen. She was pretty nervous to leave me since it was getting dark and so she stuck pretty close to me the whole time. It was a fun night and the girls got lots of candy!
We had a busy October but it was beautiful with lots of fall colors and beautiful sunny days! I have been walking Jackie and lot with my friend Des and her dog, Bodhi which has been a lot of fun to get out and see them play. They love a nearby trail that we go on leash-free and they can just run! We had a fun walk-to-school day and I walked Bergen and Lenny up to South School with Jonny and Tate in tow. Charley and Spencer also had a fun weekend and went to Texas to BYU game. They met up with Clint and Cliff and their sons and had a good time! Charley found an outdoor pond/pool to swim in and they went to a Crumbl Cookie store and got a tour. While they were away, I did a yes day with the girls. I let them each choose something to do and I had to say yes. We went to get gelato, to the toy store to pick a toy and then to Mobile to pick a candy. Then it was my turn and we walked through Waveny and ended up staying a few hours! The girls found a teepee made out of sticks and logs and played in it for an hour! We walked Jackie around and it was such a beautiful day. It was a really great day. Spencer had his annual hunting trip in Idaho and the first day they caught about 25 ducks! It was the first day of the season and they got so many!
Charley spoke in Stake Conference this month and did such a great job! She had a great opening line, "Hi, my name is Charley and I like hamburgers". It got a few laughs. She talked about Jesus feeding the 5,000 and how she can share with others too. She did so good and didn't even seem nervous! I also got to go on a date with her to the Taylor Swift movie. It was a fun night with her and she is always so appreciative and grateful. She said thank you so many times and love sitting there with her huge bucket of popcorn watching the movie. Spencer and I also went on a date to the city to a comedian. We brought Tate and she did really well during the show.
