March brought a few playdates and birthday parties, St. Patricks Day and school activities! Rachelle came into town to visit too. She was in the city to watch Sydney perform at Carnegie Hall and came to stay with us a few days. We were able to get into the city alone for a day and we rode bikes up to Central Park, got cookies at Levain, people watched at west 4th, went to ChinaTown for dumplings and walked across the Brooklyn Bridge. It was a fun outing with her! Spencer and I also had a fun night in the city with friends to go see Brandon Flowers. He was singing a few songs and talking about his new album and we just loved listening to him! He has such a great voice! We hosted our annual Chocolate Chip Cookie Contest and the winners this year was Matt Campbell! He had such a great cookie! It's a fun thing that we have started and even though we didn't have a huge turnout this year, it was still fun to be together with friends and eat cookies!
I also had my annual girls trip with my HighSchool friends! It was so fun to see them and get together in Palm Springs. We relaxed at Katie's parents house, went on a hike and played lots of games together. I also surprised them that I was pregnant and it was so fun to see all their faces!
