Halloween FUN! This year we had so many celebrations and parties! Lenny's preschool had a cute Halloween performance of some songs they had sung. South School had a Halloween parade where you could watch each class walk by in their costumes. Waveny had a Halloween night where you could go and get a treat, hot chocolate and see all the scary blow up decorations. And then our ward had a trunk-or-treat and Charley invite Poppy to come. We decorate our car with a sign that said Trick, then treat. We brought random things that kids had to do before they could get a treat. Like jump on the mini trampoline, balance on Spencer's board or use the stilts and walk. It was a fun night and I walked around with Jonny for bit to get some candy. After about the fourth person she knew exactly what to do and say to get candy and it was so cute watching her go up to someone and try to say "trick or treat" and then hold out her bucket for the candy. Because Halloween was on a Sunday this year, the last party we did was on Halloween night. Instead of trick-or-treating, we had a fun Halloween night with our family. We played bingo, bobbed for apples, I made some cute Halloween treats, we played musical chairs and had a candy hunt outside. We made witches brew and had way too many sweets! We trick-or-treated to a few houses in our street that we knew would want us to but other than that we stayed home and played games! It was still a fun night and I hope the girls remember it even though they were pretty bummed to not go out and trick-or-treat.
