We had such a lovely time with the Murphy's when they came to visit! They are traveling around in their camper and made their way to the Eastcoast before heading south for the winter. We got to show them our pool, Irwin Park, summer nights catching fireflies and around town. Sadly their trip was cut short because they couldn't park their huge RV in our driveway and so they had to head upstate for a few days. We followed them up there and camped one night in their RV park so we could still spend some time together. The girls swam in their RV pool, played some arcade games, roasted marshmallows and got nice and dirty outside. They were also in New Canaan for my birthday and so when I was out on a run, Spencer and the girls made me an açaí bowl with granola and my favorite toppings and then we went to Brooklyn for the day. We spent the day in Prospect Park talking, the girls exploring and munching on snacks. Then that evening we went to Puerto Viejo for the best dinner ever!! It was such a great day and I just love Prospect Park so much. It was the best birthday present to be there with our best friends.
