The annual gingerbread making activity!! The girls look forward to the 25 days of Christmas every year and this is definitely one of the favorite activities. We did some fun things leading up to Christmas this year. We went ice skating, saw Christmas lights, made snowflakes, made hot chocolate, watched a Christmas movie, saw Santa at the Nature Center, had a candy cane hunt and opened a new Christmas book!
We took the older girls ice skating in Stamford with the Anderson family. They had a great time and surprisingly did really well. They didn't want to leave when our 1 hour time slot ran out.
Not much Snow for Christmas this year. And Santa wouldn't let anyone near him because of the virus. It was still fun to see him at the Nature Center.
Charley was the star of her show playing the Prince and a mouse in her play Cinderella. She was absolutely fabulous. She was confident, knew her lines and talked loudly for everyone to hear. I was really impressed with how confident and courageous she was on stage. She is a natural actor!
Snowflake day!! One day our activity was making Snowflakes. The girls hung them all over the house where they stayed until well after Christmas.
Spence made it on TV!! He took a quick trip to South Carolina for the BYU game with his friend Kory.
The annual Christmas jammies tradition lives on!
Charley saved her money to buy a school set! For weeks the only activity they wanted to do was play "School"! Maybe school should last longer every day?? :)
We had such a good time as a family decorating the tree! The girls all played their part and helped out where they could.
Everything turns into something creative (and dramatic) with Charley.
