March 2020

3.30.2021

March! Some days are cold for inside swimming and playing games and other days are 'warm' enough for the playground. We did a mix of both this month. For Relief Society I took a sourdough bread class and got some sourdough starter. I have really enjoyed learning the process and making bread. I feed the starter and make bread about once a week. The girls love a fresh loaf of bread and it's fun to make. Sourdough is definitely a labor of love. It takes about 48 hours and lots of work in between but I love the taste and how healthy it is for you. Because the starter is part fermented it has some really healthy properties and is much better for you than yeast bread.

Spencer and Lenny went out on a date to get ice cream one day. I had to snap this picture when I picked her up because they are such a cute pair. Lot of bath time pics and also St. Patricks Day! The leprechaun visited us and brought some chocolate coins. The girls enjoyed their Lucky Charms for breakfast and wearing green for the day. Spencer and I have still been enjoying date nights in the city. It's really easy to get a babysitter here so we go out a lot more than when we were in Brooklyn. We sometimes go to the city and sometimes explore places here.

We have been doing some light school with Lenny here at school. She is learning her letters and sounds and doing numbers and shapes. Jonny joined in on the fun too! Palm Sunday was in March this year so we had a fun filled week of Easter things end of March and beginning of April. The ward put on an Easter Egg hunt that we went to and the girls found lots of eggs with candy.
