Rachelle's 40th SURPRISE!

12.29.2020

So I did a thing. The day after Christmas I took a plane to Seattle where out WHOLE family (except Meg who just had a baby) was there to surprise Rachelle for her 40th birthday! It was such a fun surprise! She had NO IDEA that Sarah, Dani or I would fly in to see her! We surprised her at her friend Kristie's house and spent the rest of the night eating good food, playing games and chatting. We then all went back to her place and spent the night (I claimed their master closet which was an amazing place to stay!) and then the next day went to Snowqualomi Falls. It was so good to be with my family. I love them so much!!

Spencer did so good while I was away! He got the girls dressed for Church all by himself! The girls wanted to wear their dresses that Charley had made them and it was the cutest!

Merry Christmas!

Christmas and New Years 2020

Another year another Book or Mormon reading! Mads decided around General Conference time that she was going to read the entire Book of Mormon before the end of the year. When she puts her mind to something she ALWAYS accomplishes it. It wasn't easy but Mads did it. I"m always inspired by her determination and hard work.

We got to go to church! We were so blessed to be able to go to in person church a couple days before church. Only a small part of the ward was invited and we felt lucky to be one of the families that attended. Maybe we got so lucky because we had to speak.. :)

The girls all snuggled up and ready for Santa to come. It's not Christmas eve without sleeping under the Christmas tree!

Spencer gave Lenny a Moana costume for Christmas. She was SOO excited!

Moana in her costume with her stuffed Moana doll.

Bergen opening her stilts.

Charley's bean bag that she would thank us for months and months later. She loves to read in her bean bag. She could sit there for hours and just enjoy quiet time.

Lenny is the fun age of playing pretend. She got a salon kit and so she cut everyone's hair and painted toe nails.

Charley wanted a Karaoke machine. Sunday night popcorn and karaoke has quickly become our favorite family activity.

Bergs loves her gem digging adventures.

While the girls ate leftovers, we made a huge pot of seafood and devoured it together. The girls weren't interested in the lobster, crab legs, mussels, and shrimp. More butter Please!

We did a date night to the climbing gym in Stamford! It was so fun to go back to where we had our first date. Even though it wasn't really a date.. we were just hanging out.
The Parker's invited us over to their house at Candlewood Lake for a fun New Year's Eve party. The girls had a blast staying up until midnight with their friends.
