our sweet Lenny Lou is TWO!

My sweet Lenny is TWO! I can't believe she is another year older. Lenny is such a sweet girl and is FULL of personality. She is such a funny girl and also so joyful, full of energy and light and suuuuuper social. Everyone around us says how social Lenny is. She will walk up to anyone and talk to them, give them a hug and say hi. This actually happened the other day. Lenny saw someone on the sidewalk and she just went up and gave her a hug. She must have really needed/appreciated it because we saw her a few weeks later and she stopped me and told me how much she really appreciated Lenny's hug! :) She loved it so much. We have seen her a few times after and she will always say hi and ask where Lenny is. Lenny loves to be held by anyone that will pick her up and is just a friendly little girl with most people. I took these photos of Lenny one beautiful autumn day. The leaves are so pretty right now ands he was so cute throwing them up in the air and watching them fall on her head. We just love this girls so much! I am also super happy to have an autumn baby so I can make some fun desserts for her birthday! This cake was an apple cake with browned butter frosting and salted caramel on top! YUM! That morning When she woke up we gave her some waffles and a candle on top. We sang Happy Birthday to her and she was so happy though the whole song and right when it was over she blew out her candles! She knew right what to do. She has actually been super obsessed with birthdays lately and loves to watch the birthday videos on my phone of her sisters birthday songs. She did the same thing with her cake that night. She loved listening to everyone sing and then blew the candles right now! :) It was pretty cute.

Not long after I took a few 2 year pictures of Lenny, she had taken off all her clothes and was running around in the splash pad! She loves water and even though it wasn't the warmest day, she was just happy to be outside in the water!
