Baby #4!!

7.31.2019

We are expecting baby #4 and couldn't be happier! We found out over Memorial Day Weekend after we came home from Montreal. I had been having some really weird and crazy dreams and also some leakage from my boobs (both pretty sure signs I was pregnant). We got home and I took a pregnancy test right away and sure enough was pregnant! :) We weren't expecting to get pregnant so fast and realized it was around the same weekend as my marathon that I got pregnant! Our bodies are such miraculous things. I started getting really nauseous around week 5 and it has not let up at all! I usually stay nauseous till about week 20 and I am sure this is how this one will go as well. This one is a bit different from when I was pregnant with Lenny because I have only thrown up once.. with Lenny I was throwing up about twice a day, which I feel was almost better because I had some relief after throwing up. Right now I am just nauseous 24/7 and it's been no fun! It is the worst at nights and I just lay on the couch not wanting to do anything, even talk! It's been a bit hard for Spencer and I with this one. Here I am at week 13.

July adventures

7.30.2019

We have had such a wonderful July! I just love having all my girls close to me and home for the summer. I am getting a bit sad that Charley will start school in the fall time and I won't see her all day. These girls sure play well together and I love seeing their imaginations go wild! We won't do screen time during the day and only do a family movie night on Friday's and they are so good at creating, imagining and playing together. It makes for messy houses and toys everywhere but I would rather that than them in front of a screen all day.
Bergen took these of my and Lenny on the train the other day on the way to church. Lenny loves to be out of her stroller now on the train and sitting on the seat. This makes for a more crazy train ride for me, but I love the independence they gain from doing things they want and trying new things.

I had a brilliant idea to take the wagon to Trader Joes to fill up on groceries but didn't think the part through about taking the wagon back on the bus. It was a horrible idea and super heavy! I had to have a guy help me take it off the bus at our stop. The girls liked riding in it though!

Charley's x-rays showing how her arm is healing before and after putting the cast on.

Pretzel making! The girls have loved this activity! We have done it a few times and they do really well at rolling out the dough and twisting it around to make pretzels. They are really yummy too!

At Leanna and Stanley's wedding!

Charley is SIX!

7.18.2019

Charley girl is SIX!!! What a delight she is! We just love he so much and are so happy that she is in our family. Charley is sweet, quiet, funny, a reader and crafter, rule follower, helper, loves making up songs and dances, a good friend and loves to help in the kitchen. Her reading has turned a huge corner this summer as she found a chapter book series that she loved! She has been reading the Rainbow Magic Fairies series nonstop since she discovered them at the library and cannot put them down. Charley is always found dancing around and making up songs and putting on a show for the family. She loves to laugh and is the sweetest big sister to Bergen and Lenny. She is such a good helper to me with her sisters and knows how to help Lenny calm down or distract her from something else. She is such a good sharer of all her things even when it is hard to do. Charley is a rule follower and gets upset when others don't follow the same rules. She loves baking, doing science experiments, doing "school" and playing outside with her friends. We love our Charley girl so much!!
