It is finally starting to get warm and everyone is so excited about it! We have ventured out with our homeschool group quite a bit and gone on a few field trips. We went to the Prospect Park Zoo and Bronx Zoo which the girls loved! The girls started soccer with the Murphy girls and love it! They are too cute out on the field too. It's fun to see my girls starting to be athletic! I hope they like sports when they are older.

We love our Nursery teacher! Sister Vierra has been all three of my girls' Nursery teachers and she does such an amazing job with the kids! She is so sweet, structured and loves those kids down in Nursery and we love her! Charley and Bergen also both started Gymnastics and really like it! They are both really strong and can do a lot of the advanced things the coaches have them do. It's fun to watch them! We also got to meet up with my sister Sarah who was in New York for 24 hours. She had a layover coming back from vacation so we met up with her in Times Square real quick and walked to Bryant Park to see Spencer. It was quick but fun! We also brought her Levain Cookies to eat since she really likes them.

Charley had her first piano recital and did great! We love her teacher, Rick! He is super spunky and fun with the kids and has been so great to be her first teacher for piano. She gets super frustrated quick when I try to teach her anything on the piano so it's nice to have an actual teacher that can make it fun and that she likes!

We had a sleep over with the Murphy girls. Brian and Jenn went to her grandmothers funeral so we go to have the girls for a few days. They always love playing together and it's so fun to see them interact. They are best friends and have been for so long.. they are like sisters. We had a movie night with popcorn and their stuffies and they loved it.

I am training for my marathon in a few weeks and Lenny likes to help me roll out my legs. I try to roll out every day after my run and she will come and sit on my lap as I run. It makes it a little more difficult to roll but I enjoy the snuggles:) I am getting pretty excited about this marathon coming up. I have trained really hard for it and really like the coach that I have hired to help me with a training plan. I am running a lot more than I have in the past but hope it pays off. I have had to really watch my nutrition because I have been running more because I burn a lot more calories. Some days I have felt really weak and my coach mentioned that it could be my iron so each day I make a little snack with iron rich foods (nuts, dried apricots, pumpkin seeds) and I also got an iron supplement to take. Spencer has been helping me meal prep on the weekends so I can have some go-to lunches and I have even been making breakfast for the week which is usually a batch of oatmeal pancakes, special oatmeal and some oatmeal bars.
