February- Valentines, snow and friends

2.22.2019

This year for Valentines Day we had a fairy visit our home. Her name was Cupid and she left the girls a note and a balloon to write her back and send it. The girls were really excited to get a note from the fairy and have been looking each day for her. They sent her a balloon up to the sky and hope that she got it too! In the morning when the girls woke up we made pink chocolate chip pancakes and they opened a small surprise I had left for them with a note. The weather was nice and so we went out and played and when we got home Spencer had left a beautiful bouquet of flowers for me! That night we made heart shaped pizzas and then after the girls went to bed, Spencer and I ordered food and ate it over candle light. It was a perfect day.
Our cousins in Alaska sent us the cutest care package full of games, treats and goodies. Their favorite game was the mummy game where you wrap someone in paper like a mummy. We had our friends over to play so everyone took turns wrapping each other.
We have a guy from church who loves taking pictures of everyone. He sent these to me a few days ago and I had to document them here so I always have them. I never think to take pictures at church so I am glad that he does :)
For President's Day Spencer had the day off so we went up to the New York Hall of Science. It was so fun and HUGE! There were so many hands-on activities for the girls to do and Lenny was asleep in the stroller for most of it which made it so nice. We will definitely be back up there!
Charley came out of quiet time looking like this. Ha! She was so proud of herself and I was proud of myself for keeping my cool. I told her she was a wonderful make-up artist but that she couldn't draw all over her face with her hair chalk. She helped me wash it off, but it was pretty cute that she came out looking like this.
