I absolutely LOVE this time of year. The leaves are changing, the air is crisp, pumpkin granola is in the oven.. ahh fall time is the best! This fall has been amazing weather and so we have been outside a lot trying to soak in these last few rays of sunshine before the crazy east coast winter hits again. We go to the playground every morning and switch up which playground we go to since we are by so many different ones. It's fun to watch Charley mature at the playground with how she plays and who she plays with. She is a little daredevil and will climb up just about anything. It's probably good that I am usually nursing Bergen and can't run to hold her up or save her because I would be way too over-protective. At one of our favorite playgrounds, I realized she has learned to do a lot of gross motor things. Our apt. is too small to buy many toys and that playground has old toys that people donate. She learned to walk there with these little walkers, she learned to ride a scooter there with old scooters. It's kind of amazing!
Here are a few pictures of what we have been up to: Central Park, plate making at my parents house (when we were there over the summer for our family reunion, letter writing- I wrote a letter to each member of my family telling them reasons I loved them so. It was really fun to do and such a mood booster thinking of specific traits of each of my sisters and parents that I loved. We also rode the bus one day to get some muffins which Charley loved! She was in heaven and has asked every day since to ride the bus somewhere. Also... we put Bergen in the swing for the first time and she wasn't too sure what to think. My mom is the sweetest and sent us a Halloween quilt! I love it and put it on our couch for a little holiday decoration. She is one talented lady!
