End of summer

We are so sad to see summer come to an end, but are loving this crisp fall weather! Time for my favorite season and all things cozy! I love when I can finally crack out the long sleeve shirts and sweaters and not sweat all.day.long from this crazy heat. We had such a fun summer traveling and being here in NY. We got to check a few things off our summer bucket list and try to get out each Saturday and explore the city. It always involves food and trying new places to eat, which we both love! Here are some pictures from my phone recently.. 

 We went on a walk one day and ended up at out favorite smoothie place and got a yummy muffin too! Love this girl! 

I LOVE this age of Bergen! She is smiling, cooing, engaging and loving life. She is super chill and usually only cries when she is hungry or tired. She has been going down for naps easier and is doing really well at night! 

I was making dinner and turned around and saw Charley reading Bergen a book! It is so cute how much Charley loves Bergen and wants to hold her daily. She is constantly giving her a binki or blanket or a toy to play with. I can't wait when they are older and can really interact! 

 We made it to Coney Island and had a fun beach day! The older Charley gets, the less strict we have to be with her naps so it's fun to stay out longer than usual and let her play. This girl has no fear and loves playing in the water and in the waves! We have to watch her carefully since she doesn't really understand her boundaries yet. 

 Spencer and I were able to get away on a date night to celebrate my birthday. We went to Little Italy and had the most amazing shrimp fehttuchini alfredo! Afterwards we got some cannolis and walked around Little Italy for a bit. 

 Our washer and dryer were broke for a few weeks so we had to get our laundry done at a laundry mat. It was actually pretty amazing. I just dropped off our laundry in a garbage sack and returned the next day to pick it up already washed and folded! I secretly hoped the fix-it man would never come by to fix ours since it was so nice to have my laundry folded for me! 

 We went to Jacob Riis beach one day and loved it too! It has huge waves that Charley actually loved playing in! There was less people than Coney Island since it a bit harder to get to which was nice. 

 Football has started and Spencer has a new football watching buddy! Bergen was really into this game. 

The rest of our summer was filled with playgrounds, water slip-n-slides with friends, the park, museums and library time. I love being so close to everything and being able to walk to our favorite places. We get out everyday and explore something new and we love it!
