Bergen's Baby Blessing

Bergen was blessed July 26th in Highland, UT. It was such a special day because most all of Spencer's brothers were there and most of my brother-in-laws were there to be a part of the circle. Both our Dad's and his Uncle were also there. Bergen was also blessed the same day as her two cousins, Luke and Rose. It was such a great day!
Fun fact: My beautiful and talented mother made Bergen's dress! AND I had Spencer's Grandma Colleen (who she is named after) send me a few of her buttons to put on the dress). I love how it turned out!

A Name and Blessing: Bergen Colleen Ellingson

Spencer gave a very special blessing to our Bergen. He blessed her with goodness. That as she lives this life and does what is right and follows the commandments the Lord has laid out for her success, she will find happiness and joy.
She was blessed that as she associates with those around her, she will be a light and example to them. That she will touch their lives and strengthen them and help others to come to Christ through her example.
She was blessed that as she prepares herself to make sacred covenants with our Father that she will come to understand the importance of those covenants and the importance of her individual relationship with our Father in Heaven.
She was blessed that through our family and friends and those around her, she will come to know her self worth and know that she is a beautiful prized daughter of our Father in Heaven.
She was blessed to accomplish great things.
She was blessed that as she looks to our Savior and his Atonement, she will be able to reach her full potential.
She is loved! And we are so excited to have her be a part of our family!
My Aunt Peggy made Bergen a beautiful crocheted blanket. She also made my sister's boy one so we got a picture with her and the two babes.
