One of our favorite places to go in the morning before nap time is the Nature Playground at the park. It's a really cool natural playground with fun chairs and stepping blocks made out of stumps, a water area and a sand box. It's quiet and full of trees which is a nice getaway from the city street noise.
We also went to Times Square to go to an Asian Festival and found our favorite characters too! Charley met Winnie the Pooh, Elmo and Cookie Monster. She was in heaven! It was so cute when she saw cookie, she said in a low deep voice, "cookiiiiiieeee" You can see in the picture how she is saying it! :)
Sleeping babies are the best babies!
I started running again and am going to train for a marathon! I am excited and nervous to train. I don't want to get injured and hope to run a really fast marathon soon so the training has begun. Running with this double stroller is hard work!
The Dunn's came to visit on their way up to Cape Cod, so we got some yummy Brooklyn Bagels and walked around the block. It was so fun to see them for a short time and Sydney was in heaven carrying Bergen everywhere we went.
Cute Nora holding Bergen
Flashback to Nora holding Charley at the same age
and so the potty training begins.. not on my part at all! Charley started telling us that she wanted to go on the potty so we are running with it. I don't instigate it at all (I didn't want to start till I got the whole newborn thing down) but if she feels like going, she will tell us and she will sit on the toilet and sometimes she will go and sometimes we will just sit and read books. It's been fun seeing her excited when she goes. ahh the toddler life:)
that Nature Playground looks amazing. And so fun that the Dunn's got to party with you guys!
