The end of July all happened so fast! We celebrated Spencer's 39th birthday and went camping with our ward! We also prepared for baby Ellingson and did all our last minute cleaning and grocery shopping. We had a family reunion on Spencer's moms side and welcomed the arrival of our baby girl! (post to come soon)
Birthday Kneaders French Toast! YUM!!!
Spencer has had this BYU photo since we were dating and has always wanted it framed. Well I knew he would never frame it on his own since it is so expensive, so I surprised him for his birthday and got it framed. Now he can take it to New York and put it in his home office! He LOVES it!
That night his parents came over for a yummy salmon dinner and then his brothers came over for some dessert. This fruit tart is his favorite dessert EVER!
I love my husband so much! I am so grateful for him each day and so happy that I married him! He is thoughtful. kind. spiritual. funny. positive. sensitive. cuddly. a hard worker. patient. such a cute daddy. willing to help. and dead sexy! I love how he works so hard. I love how he treats me like a princess. I love how he likes to stay busy and work in the yard. I love how he reads his scriptures every morning. I love how he will shut his computer and just cuddle with me. I love how he will dance with me in the kitchen. I love his sexy dance. I love how he helps me with our baby. I love how he gets up in the middle of the night with her and rocks her back to sleep. I just LOVE him! I can't imagine my life any other way. Our relationship is special and I value it so much. In our 2 years of marriage we still have not raised our voice or gotten mad at each other.
We also had a Polatis family reunion. It was so fun to see cousins, aunts, uncles and Grandma and Grandpa Polatis. Spencer's Grandma is such a sweet and cute lady. She is always so upbeat and happy and loves to be around people. She cried a few times telling us she didn't want us to move to New York. :(
The night before Charley was born we cleaned the whole house and prepared for her arrival. Spencer helped so much and cleaned and vacuumed out the cars too. He was pooped out by the end of the night.
You're moving to NY?!? How exciting!
