We had such a good time in Florida for our Spring Break. We did one day at Magic Kingdom, one day at Universal to see Harry Potter Land and then 2 beach days and a few pool days. It was perfect. Magic Kingdom was a lot of fun! We rode the rides, met the princesses, Charley and Bergen got to go on the big kid rides while I took Lenny and Jonny to the Bibity Bobity Boutique to get a makeover. Tate napped on the go and we were able to go on a few favorite rides twice! It was a great day. We woke up at 7am, packed lunches and were in the park by 9am and stayed till 9pm after the fireworks were over. The girls did so well going all day and the weather was so nice that it wasn't too hot. We made it over to the Tampa side for one of our beach days and it was beautiful! We went to Cocoa Beach for our other beach day and met up with our friends, the Miskins. While we were over there we also went to see the alligators at the anture preserve. In between we did some pool days at our airbnb and it was a agreat vacation.
I also ran the Boston Marathon during our Spring Break. I actually flew from Florida up to Boston and stayed in Boston for a quick 36 hours and then came back to Florida. Boston was great! The weather was perfect and it is always so fun to run. So many people cheer you on and the streets are lined with fans. There is so much energy. I didn't get my best time but not my worst either. I got a 3hr 40 min. I started out a little too fast and ran out of energy by the end. The last few miles were a bit rough and I walked a little but I am glad I ran it and everything went well. I flew back to FL that night and we went to Magic Kingdom the next day and walked 7 miles so my legs were really feeling it by the end! :) My friend Kristina offered to let me stay at her place while I was in Boston and she lives right near where the buses load in the morning so it was perfect to stay with her and be so close after the race was over. I was able to pump before and after the race which was nice too.
