Family Pictures

 

We had family pictures and they turned out so perfect! The colors all coordinated so well this year! I planned the colors around Lenny's dress. I bought her and Jonny the same Alice and Ames dress on sale and loved it so much! Bergen and Charley already had their outfit from school shopping and Jonny's dress used to be Lenny's so all I needed to do was buy Tate a matching outfit and we were set! I love our photographer and how she captures the light so well! We had a 20 minute photoshoot and were able to get some good shots in in those 20 minutes. We got individual of the girls and Spencer and I and then with our #12 and then a few family pictures! It was quick and easy! Afterward we took the girls to swirl for being good and smiling! 

Jonny's first day of preschool and end of September

Jonny started preschool at St. Mark's and is in the same 3's class as Lenny with Mrs. Lauten and Mrs. Demuzio! We adore her teachers so much! She is actually doing 4 days a week with one longer day called lunch bunch. She loves it so much so far and can't wait to tell me about her preschool friends and what they did. We really love this preschool and I am so glad we found it! It's a great fit for Jonny. She is SO ready to start preschool since all her other sisters were going to school too!

The girls did really well for our 20 minute photoshoot and then we went to swirl afterwards! The girls are pretty photogenic so we got some good ones in the short amount of time we had. It was a great night! Other happenings: Jackie turned ONE! Our sweet pup is one and we all love him so much! He is the BEST dog and such a sweet, calm and kind dog. He listens so well, comes when he is called and will go outside and run around and then come to the door when he is ready to come back in. He stays close even without an electric fence which is so nice! He loves to play with our neighbor dog, Violet (even though she doesn't like to play) and is always up for a walk! Spencer and I also celebrated our 12th anniversary! We went to the most delicious french restaurant in Ridgefield. It was sooo good! I had a steak and we got a salad and snails (escargot) to share. And then some chocolate cake for dessert. It was a great night with our little sidekick Tate!:) 

 

September fun!

September is always a fun month with lots going on, the excitement of school starting and the weather starting to cool down. We are bust again this season with Charley doing softball, tennis, dance, the Saxe musical, piano and activity days. Bergen is doing soccer, piano and activity days. Lenny is doing soccer and theater and Jonny luckily isn't doing anything after preschool:) Over Labor Day weekend, our sweet friends, the Murphys, came to visit and we had so much fun with them! We went to Grace Farms, hung out at home and Jenn and I got to go out one night for dinner which was such a treat! She is such a wonderful friend and I have loved raising our girls together. She is calm, patient and such a good mother and person. We talked about church, our girls, our husbands and everything in-between! The girls picked up right where they left off and had fun playing together and just being around each other. It was such a nice long weekend! Tate turned 2 months which I can't believe! She is already getting so big and I wish time would stop! She is such a sweetheart and we all love her so much. She is smiling lots, sleeping through the night and is super calm and happy! It's the best!
