For February Break we made a list of things we wanted to do together since we were staying here for the break. We had a really fun time doing something each day together. The girls had a great time! We went rock-climbing in Stamford, went to the largest mall which also has the largest indoor water park and played there for the day. We got there early before lines and it was fun to go on so many water slides. I did a few with the younger girls and a few with the older girls. They loved the tube rides and the wave pool the best. We lost Lenny and Bergen at one point which was pretty scary in both cases. I was at the wave pool with the girls and realized Bergen wasn't with us but thought she had gone to the towels real quick. About 5 minutes passed and a lifeguard came and tapped me on the shoulder and told me security had Bergen and I needed to come get her. She was pretty sad and teary eyed when I got her. She wasn't lost for a long time but it really traumatized her. She was fine the rest of the day but we will find out about a month later she began to have some anxiety about being left alone and being lost in a big crowd. I also didn't think much of it because a little later Lenny also got lost since Spencer had to run to the bathroom with Jonny since she pooped a little in her swim suit. Lenny went looking for them and got lost and so we had to go to security to get her. She was just chatting it up with the ladies in the office and having a great time. She didn't seem to mind that we were missing from her life for a bit:)
We also went to IT adventure park in New Haven. It's a huge ropes course with a zip line and rock climbing. The girls loved it! We went on a hike, went into the city to a Harry Potter store and the girls each chose something to buy. Lenny chose a Hermione wand that she is obsessed with and Charley chose a gold snitch. Bergen didn't find anything she was in love with. We all got some butter-beer which is really good! And then went to get ramen which everyone loved! On Sunday we also did a cake wars which was a lot of fun! Charley had the idea so we split into teams and came up with an idea for our cake. Bergen, Lenny and I came up with a nature theme and made rocks, rainbow and a lake. Dad, Charley and Jonny came up with waffle cakes that were really good! It was fun to create together and do teams. We also went to the movies together and got tons of popcorn and relaxed in the huge recliner chairs and while Spencer and the older two went to Okemo, I took the younger girls to Stepping Stones museum. Last thing we did was go sledding! We finally got some snow so we went to South School and sled down the hill with friends!
