I got to go into Charley's class for her half birthday and read a book. It was fun to spend some time with her. I have loved being the room mom for her class and being together as much as possible before she starts Middle School next year. We had a spa day at home where the girls pampered me, Charley made her first dinner for the family and it was delicious- tomato soup! Lots of Jackie time and family time!
Jonny you are THREE! I can't believe it. This is the BEST age!! Dad and I love your sweet voice and how energetic and fun you are. You love to play dress up and constantly are changing your clothes to wear a princess dress and then a summer dress and then a winter dress. You are the best at accessorizing and always have a headband on and necklace and bracelet! You love your big sisters and they all adore you! All of their friends love you too. It's so sweet! You are my little buddy and help me run lots of errands during the day! We go grocery shopping together and you love Trader Joe's where you get to find the hidden animals because then you get a sucker and sticker! You love to play with your friends and are always asking for a playdate with Andrew and Julian. You go to preschool twice a week for a few hours and really enjoy going! You walk right in and love playing and doing crafts. This month we moved you our of your crib and into a big girl bed and room with Lenny! Bergen took your room and now you and Lenny share a room and the bunkbed. You two are so cute and will often wake up and start singing together! For your birthday you got some headbands, a purse from Gramma B and Bart and play some playdough. You love playing with playdough while I do my workouts downstairs! We made you a strawberry lemon cake and it was delicious! You love tea parties and laying and cuddling with Jackie. You love to read books, play in the toyroom and sing to yourself. Whenever we are out walking you are usually singing a made-up song about the day. Jonny you are loved by all and we are so glad you are turning THREE!!!
With a new year ahead we started out with a bang! Still no snow but that's okay. On New Years Eve we went to the Parker's Lakehouse and played some fun New Years Eve games! It was a lot of fun and the girls love spending time with the Parkers. Spencer took the girls up to Thunder Ridge almost everyday during Winter Break. They love the hill and are getting so good at it! They picked up skiing so fast. We think it's the hoverboard that made them such naturals and easy to balance. Charley and Bergen zoom down the hill and are faster than Spencer and I. I have been working with Lenny on the bunny hill and helping her to just have a great time and get the hang of skiing. She has a really good attitude and has been doing really well! We did the small bunny hill a few times and then went to the bigger bunny hill. She likes that one so much better and gets better each day! The girls had their read-a-thon and both did really well! The school did "dress like your favorite character" so Bergen dressed as Lavender from Matilda and Mati dress as Matilda. Charley also dressed from Matilda and was Mrs. Wormwood. I also took the younger girls with Megan and Louise and their kids to the New York Botanical Gardens. We saw the train show and the Thomas the Train show. It was a fun outing. The girls also did a switch up of rooms!! It was time to take down the crib so we moved Bergen into Jonny's room and bought her a daybed that fits really good on one of her walls and then Jonny moved into the room with Lenny to share the bunkbed. They are all so happy with this change. Bergen loves having her own room and Jonny and Lenny couldn't be happier sharing a room! They play together so well and have had a tea party already in their room. They wake up together singing and playing and it's the best!
