More of February

2.26.2020

Oh I am just loving these newborn snuggles. My favorite time of the day is when the older three girls go to bed and I get to feed and snuggle a sweet and cuddly sleepy baby. Jonny is the sweetest! I feel like I have slowed down a lot with this newborn and held her more. Every night I just hold her while she sleeps and it is so peaceful and relaxing. I just love my babies!
We went out on a mild weather day to the library with our best friends. It was good to get out and have a picnic outside. The girls have been doing a lot of dancing and playing inside. I also got one of the worst haircuts of my life. The lady did such a horrible job I didn't pay for it and had to come back for it to be re-done. She tried to bleach my hair without using the right things and it turned a bright yellow and burnt my scalp and forehead. The cut she did was horrendous too! haha I left crying and then laughing. Spencer and I also got a night away (with Jonny) to the LDS Professionals dinner. The Speaker was Elder Christofferson and Mariano Rivera (the Sandman). Spencer went to see him! It was a fun night.

February fun

2.19.2020

We had a fun and relaxing February. I love how newborns help you slow down, stay in and enjoy some snuggle time. The weather has been cold so we have been doing a lot inside. We had a nice Valentines Day with  homemade heart shaped pizzas and flowers for the girls. After we put the girls to bed, Spencer and I ordered some takeout and ate over candle light. Jonny turned ONE month! She is such a sweet and snuggly baby! We all just love her and can't get enough. Lenny loves to smother her and Bergen is the best little helper! She is a little mama and carries her around, changes her diaper and loves to get her from her nap. Grandma B and Grandma Ellingson both came and helped for a week or so. They were both AMAZING helpers. My mom is a super mama. She cooked, cleaned, played with the girls, did all the laundry, took Charley to school and kept the house clean. She sewed Jonny a blessing dress and really did it all. I loved having her here and cried a little when she left. It was so nice to have my mom here. It was so tender to think about her having four little girls like I do now.
Grandma Ellingson also came and was such a HUGE helper. She had gifts for the girls almost every day. She did crafts with them, made cookies, played loads of games and helped with Jonny so much. She cooked dinners and the girls loved playing endless games with her. She is such a patient and kind woman. I think she really enjoyed being here with all girls when she is used to having boys. The girls even put her hair in pigtails:)
