February 2018

2.21.2018

Charley has been loving using my camera lately and snapped these of me and Bergen one Sunday. I loved watching her then go around the house and take pictures of everything in sight! Bergen wanted in on the action and took some of Charley as well. Such cute girls! :)
February consisted of Museum days, the library, Mom Preschool, running outside Lenny turning 4 months and her amazing cheeks/double chin. We also said Good-bye to our dear friends, the Sturgill's as they moved to Alabama. We already miss them! Charley and Max were such good friends.
Charley had a school performance and her class sang "Peace Like a River" for Black History Month. It was super cute. I absolutely love her teacher! She is so good with Charley and keeps Charley calm, happy and safe. Charley is her little helper and her teacher makes a special effort to work with each of her students one-on-one and I can tell that she has been helping Charley with what she needs. She is super great. She gave Charley the special job of changing the daily routine each time they move onto something different in class. This has helped Charley not feel as anxious when routines change or when they transition into something else.
This month we also went and say Daddy at work! For Valentines day we made him some Valentines and then brought him snacks and a gift to his work. He was so surprised and loved seeing his girls! For Valentines that night we just ordered food in and was able to just talk and relax that night and then later that week we went out to eat together.
I also gave the girls their first haircuts! Their hair had been getting super tangled and I thought cutting an inch off would help. They were so still for their haircut and it did seem to help their tangles!
I had to take a picture one day of all the errands I ran with the stroller and girls. I LOVE walking everywhere. It's one of my favorite things about living in the city. While Bergen took a nap I was able to go Grocery Shopping, post office, and library. Then she woke up and we went to pick Charley up from school, go to the dry-cleaning and drop off a bag of clothes at the donation bin. It was a good day! :) Bergen is also my little helper in the kitchen! She loves climbing onto the counter when I am cooking and asks to help. She always asks if she can try ALL of the ingredients I use to cook with. It's pretty cute! I try to not stress about keeping everything clean and tidy as it gets pretty messy with her up on the counter. She loves helping me though and I hope she remembers doing it with me.
