I feel like the first of the year I was so nauseous with morning sickness I didn't have much energy to do anything. Now that I can actually stay awake past 8pm, I can catch up on the blog:) I took a few pictures of these girls' hair because I love it so much! Some days it is so curly and fun! We also started learning about different attributes each month. We usually focus on them during FHE on Monday nights and play different games with them, role play and explain what the attribute is. It has been so fun to do and for the girls to learn. I am amazed at how much more willing they are to do each attribute (like share) when it is written and hung on our wall.
For Christmas Spencer got me HAMILTON tickets!!! It was the best present ever and so we were able to go this month. I loved it so much! The singing is just amazing and the acting is so good. You learn a lot of history as well. It was by far a favorite broadway show we have seen.
One perk to having my OB in Manhattan is that it is right by the Cronut shop. So when both the girls were with me we stopped in and got a cronut one day. They devoured it! It was a fun little date with them and it's always fun to get one in the "off" season before too many tourists line up at 6am to get a cronut.
Spencer's mom, DeAnn came and visited for a few days too! It was so fun to have her and walk around the city a bit. She flew to Boston to help with Spencer's brother and sister-in-law who had a baby and so she took the train down from Boston for a few days to see us. Her and Spencer went to see the broadway, School of Rock which they said was really good.
I love how fearless my girls are! We were at the Children's museum one day and a lady was showing a group of kids a cockroach and a stick-bug. The girls wanted to hold and pet the critters! They had no fear and pet each of the bugs she had. They love holding worms too which is so funny because so many kids around them were too scared and screeching the whole time.
