Family Pictures!

I did a photo swap with a photographer friend and when she was visiting New York a month ago she took some family pictures. Then when I went to Utah, I took her family pictures. It was a perfect swap and I love how they turned out! We did it at the Brooklyn Bridge and even though Charley was having one of those days.. they turned out great!

15 months

It is amazing to me how much kids learn and grow! It seemed like overnight Charley started understanding what we were saying and trying to talk. It's really amazing and everyday Spencer and I are in awe at what she is learning. Here are a few things at 15 months Charley can say/do. 

 Things she can understand
-Do you want a snack? (she gets excited and goes to the cupboard)
-Go get the ball! (she goes and finds it)
-Where's owl and blanket? (she goes to her crib and gets them)
-Time to take a nap (she goes to her crib.. it's the cutest thing!)
-Let's change your diaper
-Where's daddy? (she looks for him in his office)
-Do you want to listen to music? (she jumps up and down with a big smile on her face and turns toward the TV!)
-Hi, bye, all done
-Let's get see Violet/Mia/James (she gets really excited and goes to the door)
-There's a doggie! (screams!)
-Let's be soft (still working on being soft and not hitting!)
-Let's take a bath (she goes to the bathtub)
-Do you want water? (gets her water bottle)
-Can you give high-5?
-Can I have a kiss? (she gives the best kisses)

Things she can say
-thank you (da do)
-you sign "all done"
-mama
-daddy
-milk (mi)
-you sign "drink"
-bath (ba)
-you have signed "please" once! :)
-dog
-truck (tuck)
-moooo (when we ask what a cow says)
-bless you (ba bo) (when someone sneezes

Things she does
-when she is tired she finds her blanket and owl and starts sucking her thumb
-she waves "bye-bye" and "hi"
-when she hears sirens she gets excited and starts saying "truck"
-she LOVES music and listening to it everyday! We have that Pandora Toddler station on so much I think I have every song memorized.
-she loves giving high-5's and kisses to people
